IJM

International Justice Mission (IJM) is a global organization partnering with local justice systems to end violence against people living in poverty. Their 20th Anniversary Celebration in 2018 brought together 1,000 global staff, making it the largest gathering of international abolitionists in history.

This Is Maverick took the lead on strategic planning and execution while acting as the liaison between all IJM divisions, 25 international field and partner offices, and executive leadership. The full scope of this project included our management of a 20 person pre-event team and a 100+ person onsite team.

We carried the entire experience onsite, which included housing, transportation, translation services, child care, meals, medical and security, live programming, special events, onsite wellness, counseling opportunities, all design and printed assets, and a 10,000 sq ft immersive gallery installation highlighting the history of IJM’s 20 years of work.
